The IN4SAFETY project (https:\/\/www.ita-slo.eu\/sl\/in4safety<\/a>), approved under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme, has started. In Ajdov\u0161\u010dina, we met the project partners at the project kick-off event coordinated by the Municipality of Ajdov\u0161\u010dina and discussed the upcoming project activities. The afternoon part of the meeting was dedicated to a tour of the Vipava Cross.<\/p>\n

The common challenge addressed by IN4SAFETY is to establish cooperation for disaster risk prevention and climate change risk reduction, which necessitates the need for a more coordinated response to natural disasters in the programme area.<\/p>\n

As part of the project, we will establish a helicopter emergency response plan for faster and more efficient rescue operations.<\/p>\n
